On the inside, it's includes pictures with my closest friends and souvenirs such as movie tickets and gift cards. I chose stuff that would remind future me of all the people at are currently important in my life. I also chose stuff the would remind me of the fun I had and adventures I embarked on. I contributed articles about professional runners and events that have recently happened such as the strength that arose from the tragic Boston bombing. I can only hope that future me still enjoys the things I find passion for now such as running and movies. I see myself opening this box with a smile. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1t9mCkVIUrr9eggfr9QMgXpDqZ4BsUgNpbml7ZQZLhlO37j2zU7cvfgeZijX8vZFfTTPD2w9BHToTKAVvdk_IKhErCBcK-azgsWa-KmWtwz9DV7s0_zTx7KPzFs7sZkVjTGe8fBhzZQ6Z/s640/blogger-image-125412483.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1t9mCkVIUrr9eggfr9QMgXpDqZ4BsUgNpbml7ZQZLhlO37j2zU7cvfgeZijX8vZFfTTPD2w9BHToTKAVvdk_IKhErCBcK-azgsWa-KmWtwz9DV7s0_zTx7KPzFs7sZkVjTGe8fBhzZQ6Z/s640/blogger-image-125412483.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitGMJwcNXeu8jweQd08KYIdg8QtrNY04eUTtkgPhLdfg9UfdsLqfwWCyDkXl3bt4yflb1Q6xjsAv0UXZ0HcJRuJcW3YwQJ9GXg1jQDOSlzgOb1eEybt6jFBnTB0_AB2AMiNareuJ4KkuGY/s640/blogger-image-1224998586.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitGMJwcNXeu8jweQd08KYIdg8QtrNY04eUTtkgPhLdfg9UfdsLqfwWCyDkXl3bt4yflb1Q6xjsAv0UXZ0HcJRuJcW3YwQJ9GXg1jQDOSlzgOb1eEybt6jFBnTB0_AB2AMiNareuJ4KkuGY/s640/blogger-image-1224998586.jpg"></a></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07916644850782103674noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6983504500879914743.post-31609860967838993812014-06-05T11:14:00.001-07:002014-06-05T11:14:48.467-07:00Final FarewellFor these past four years, I've been trying to get into this creative arts class. Finally, my senior year, my final year here at Haddon Twp, it fit into my schedule. This has definitely been my favorite class and something to look forward to at the end of each day. No matter how stressed I was, I could walk into this room and feel at peace, and free to explore. I've learned a lot about art this year, real art, and not just childish doodles. For my birthday I even received tickets to the art museums, and sketch books with art supplies to continue with the skills I've discovered this year. My favorite project this year was definitely the modern totem pole. It was really cool to watch everyone's come together and tell a story. I'll miss this class, but now is our time to depart. This is Alicia Pipkin, signing out. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBG8JC5XZC-SrcpQ49PiOqRKE0Q2h9GLe6mpZcGwmRLdftAgp1LIWs8rsgQhFx-rxwu9o-splDEJ7ckrsZQWS4RoXORpW_cs1PismFK3k8wUL6l7iGtT9GSjTuj1jXS0Seic1-1O91tC4k/s640/blogger-image-148926626.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBG8JC5XZC-SrcpQ49PiOqRKE0Q2h9GLe6mpZcGwmRLdftAgp1LIWs8rsgQhFx-rxwu9o-splDEJ7ckrsZQWS4RoXORpW_cs1PismFK3k8wUL6l7iGtT9GSjTuj1jXS0Seic1-1O91tC4k/s640/blogger-image-148926626.jpg"></a></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07916644850782103674noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6983504500879914743.post-54198644962912787222014-04-08T19:12:00.001-07:002014-04-08T19:12:48.815-07:00The most magical place on Earth The adventure of Disney hit a peak on the day we went to Animal Kingdom and the Magic Kingdom. No matter where you were in the park, you could look up and see the grand Circle of Life Tree. Here every possible animal was carved into the majestic trunk. Off to the side sat a giant mountain in the distance filled with laughs and screams of joy. Expedition Everest was a roller-coaster that twisted around and in and out of "Mt.Everest", which we rode 4 times. After the nausea set in, we decided to take it easy and take a ride through the safari. The safari was easily one of my favorite things about Animal Kingdom because of all the exotic animals. Finally after 7 hours in Animal Kingdom, we left and arrived to the core of Disney World, the Magic Kingdom. We ran around the park in search for princesses and characters. Fortunately we got to meet Daisy and Minnie. As the sun set and crowds gathered, the castle slowly started to glow with lights and graphic projections. The graphic were a timeline of Disney's movies and when they reached present day, the fireworks began. The fireworks were truly magical and emotional. As you stand there in awe, it sets in that the end is nearing and that you and all your friends will soon be gone into another chapter of life. The fireworks ended with shooting stars, mass amounts of lights, and a glisten in my eyes. The night had finally came to a close.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07916644850782103674noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6983504500879914743.post-12614506035748898202014-01-23T17:48:00.001-08:002014-01-23T17:48:17.137-08:00Pop ArtAfter studying Andy Warhol's pop art and mass-production style, I was really inspired with my print. I created my print off of a small Cinderella figure. After making several prints with it, I decided it needed something else, so I created a princess carriage print to pair with the princess. As a huge Disney fan, the mass production of Cinderelle and her carriage was quite fun to me. I even had friends who wanted me to create print posters for them. This project was definitely one of my favorites. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUNMRV1R3NR8Zan3gdbywclJ8nqk1p5xdOAlp3zUzLJSey-uETBkgm5Nkp3WIHlS84RoilIUfSbAJc-G7Eiv6STy9WOEgLL3WAU0Pk_I9O164sca1sveI6Dp9hag2i90HKjbEb67lK_iKK/s640/blogger-image-1936327485.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUNMRV1R3NR8Zan3gdbywclJ8nqk1p5xdOAlp3zUzLJSey-uETBkgm5Nkp3WIHlS84RoilIUfSbAJc-G7Eiv6STy9WOEgLL3WAU0Pk_I9O164sca1sveI6Dp9hag2i90HKjbEb67lK_iKK/s640/blogger-image-1936327485.jpg"></a></div><br></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07916644850782103674noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6983504500879914743.post-11671389347396646812014-01-23T17:47:00.003-08:002014-01-23T17:47:54.135-08:00Art x3It was an interesting experience working with something I had to "let go" of twice. I was attached to my original piece and didn't want to give it up. Second piece I was given to work with did not give me much room for change or much to work with. I was glad to let go of that one. My third piece had elements that really inspired me like the wonder women. In the end I was really pleased with my final art piece. The life lesson learned here was to work with what life gives you; you may surprise yourself with what you can do. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkspLYl12gIJQlAHvXbvHhf3hNjhtRL5Ho44SGJnQwyRJfm1EEPSc4orno4vFY9tulhzvJz5G6g_iubLRYRvK5lnxufPqXELyXuXKjG52D5rsuinpxNazsgn0-vNIxpIZimFhH_YaCjexP/s640/blogger-image--139896158.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkspLYl12gIJQlAHvXbvHhf3hNjhtRL5Ho44SGJnQwyRJfm1EEPSc4orno4vFY9tulhzvJz5G6g_iubLRYRvK5lnxufPqXELyXuXKjG52D5rsuinpxNazsgn0-vNIxpIZimFhH_YaCjexP/s640/blogger-image--139896158.jpg"></a></div><br></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07916644850782103674noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6983504500879914743.post-61812276181258198512014-01-23T17:47:00.001-08:002014-01-23T17:47:01.016-08:00Fortune Cookie inspiredMy fortunes were future and personality oriented; "Your future is as boundless as the lofty heave," and "you have an unusually magnetic personality." To represent a promising future, I used an interview cutout of an Olympian who, too, has a boundless future. Tina Fey represents my magnetic personality because she is the queen of comedy and doesn't take herself too seriously. The sponged red background comes from my fortune "summer." In all my work depicts what I aspire to be in the future. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibBf2ZeD7e3YmLEPuWviOLC7fwzt3RbOgx9uOXg5j4hXtGC-Pybc1OyDFwOz-SB3JtSTh5JFtp784Cct_HDPkiSnL9aW2I06Fr5U5YW0a7_3DOuRIZ2qMQefaHruDwM_OSzPZifAqy3X5U/s640/blogger-image--287789093.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibBf2ZeD7e3YmLEPuWviOLC7fwzt3RbOgx9uOXg5j4hXtGC-Pybc1OyDFwOz-SB3JtSTh5JFtp784Cct_HDPkiSnL9aW2I06Fr5U5YW0a7_3DOuRIZ2qMQefaHruDwM_OSzPZifAqy3X5U/s640/blogger-image--287789093.jpg"></a></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07916644850782103674noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6983504500879914743.post-79563700491720350612013-11-14T13:43:00.001-08:002013-11-14T13:43:52.488-08:00World in BluePortia Munson is a artist famous for her collections, especially the unified color collections. We mimiced her collection by each bringing in 2 random blue objects. After taking a snap shot of the collection and examining it, these objects prove to tell a lot about our society and culture. In our collection you can find many cosmetic essentials which show how our society values beauty. The globle represents how interconnected and small our world has become. There are at least 3 cell phone cases in the collection which signify our interest in technology and communication. The collection as a whole ranges from decor to everyday used items showing how versitile we've become. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4dBi1gbqH787OqCC_y7DJ0iF93o4VVzvnXqVzs2LW1WoYRxHWmPbklB1TxB7CimyTUcGHG4O361Y2imj3v9uDurRCHlXKfV2sxvcmeX_3IDGGbzlr7f5Fqh5AbOURwnOrCldhz0Y3V4wl/s640/blogger-image-1727378988.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4dBi1gbqH787OqCC_y7DJ0iF93o4VVzvnXqVzs2LW1WoYRxHWmPbklB1TxB7CimyTUcGHG4O361Y2imj3v9uDurRCHlXKfV2sxvcmeX_3IDGGbzlr7f5Fqh5AbOURwnOrCldhz0Y3V4wl/s640/blogger-image-1727378988.jpg"></a></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07916644850782103674noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6983504500879914743.post-72916371362210874812013-11-12T11:25:00.004-08:002013-11-14T13:43:34.773-08:00Collecting ShowtimesAndy Warhol is both a collecting artist and pop art artist. Pop Art is art based on modern popular cutlure and mass media. Like Andy Warhol, I have a collection that crosses with pop art. My collection of movie stub tickets holds sentimental value and memories with friends and family. I started collecting tickets in 7th grade. Sadly, after moving to a different house, I lost a decent amount of my collection. Since then, I have rebuilt my collection. Each ticket is a looking glass to a phase in my life, whether it be a friend group or fangirl phenomenom. My favorite ticket is The Great Gatsby ticket. I hated the movie itself, but that day was one of the best days ever because I spent it with my best friend after not seeing him for months. <div>
The other thing that appeals to me is the change of the tickets over time. As I aged, so have the ticket ratings from G to R, including a variety of interest. <br><div>
<br></div>
<div>
While exploring other artist and general collections, I came across a man who, too, collects movie ticket stubs. http://www.cctv.com/english/special/news/20091117/103937.shtml</div>

I found it was more challenging using the color pencils with shading than regular pencils. I think my bike drawing came out better than my candy jar. Both had challenges though-the bike pedal and the candy lid (both circular objects). Hopefully as the year goes on, drawing shapes such as circles and ovals gets easier. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUSPOzkBQZ7dRcAfOrv9OhyphenhyphenZdmO8UKGzCG8hVhi5bZ5wKCJIw7gDH3fir1ZsliIeHemcpTz3wT1gzlqKTBIUhSROxNFaY5SftHETXdiz2BBS0gT4lOADlvxA1PwtbzNrnYY1K3RFINe4aN/s640/blogger-image-1468783691.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUSPOzkBQZ7dRcAfOrv9OhyphenhyphenZdmO8UKGzCG8hVhi5bZ5wKCJIw7gDH3fir1ZsliIeHemcpTz3wT1gzlqKTBIUhSROxNFaY5SftHETXdiz2BBS0gT4lOADlvxA1PwtbzNrnYY1K3RFINe4aN/s640/blogger-image-1468783691.jpg"></a><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUSPOzkBQZ7dRcAfOrv9OhyphenhyphenZdmO8UKGzCG8hVhi5bZ5wKCJIw7gDH3fir1ZsliIeHemcpTz3wT1gzlqKTBIUhSROxNFaY5SftHETXdiz2BBS0gT4lOADlvxA1PwtbzNrnYY1K3RFINe4aN/s640/blogger-image-1468783691.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrD3RQM1opdt1VWTg-2yWq0_nWVsUAPeAAQFHi0-CKwZNHd_M-uJp9VulomSCrENbyYg9P9He9KaCUyiTvfblGa9DAoUSS_ETcDDmKMlA75rmBesnjosIy1gw_8jZ-BntJRVgBmCttyaVH/s640/blogger-image-1012030394.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrD3RQM1opdt1VWTg-2yWq0_nWVsUAPeAAQFHi0-CKwZNHd_M-uJp9VulomSCrENbyYg9P9He9KaCUyiTvfblGa9DAoUSS_ETcDDmKMlA75rmBesnjosIy1gw_8jZ-BntJRVgBmCttyaVH/s640/blogger-image-1012030394.jpg"></a></div></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07916644850782103674noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6983504500879914743.post-73835687277837652412013-11-01T03:28:00.001-07:002013-11-01T03:28:43.012-07:00Something sweetOur second project in class was drawing the candy jar sitting in from of us. The goal was to created dimension and a glass cover over the candy to appear like the jar. Surprisingly, the only thing I found difficult was drawing the lid. I discovered drawing circles and ovals are not in my expertise, but it's okay. My jar of candy came out better than I expected, especially the bag of Skittles. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqF3i1vx171nM8BoAIvnV08SZbnrEjHjx1buigjbpdWqNHpGxvFqjWWFhKCdTZOo2ZBVrTOf7QXfHtKM0VsmSl_Mpdg0PGoZAHsEiC6_mRw1iOATOuHJy5sVRcO8mnQtqQQpCDO-t4o_3I/s640/blogger-image-1797636054.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqF3i1vx171nM8BoAIvnV08SZbnrEjHjx1buigjbpdWqNHpGxvFqjWWFhKCdTZOo2ZBVrTOf7QXfHtKM0VsmSl_Mpdg0PGoZAHsEiC6_mRw1iOATOuHJy5sVRcO8mnQtqQQpCDO-t4o_3I/s640/blogger-image-1797636054.jpg"></a></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07916644850782103674noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6983504500879914743.post-24925099931634489802013-10-29T11:25:00.001-07:002013-11-01T03:23:44.271-07:00First Pedal<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiV1mDj5seXg124zLy3olWv8VesLkPOGypLqFu4QfPH5I0jH37lgVhEROTnAwwGzD-FhMeMRY_-kGewfxRQA9eE3JCF-dmGhPurY6O_ehxa6ltuWvaY-m6mTTGvjceLGpebSDbeGuMtTbfT/s640/blogger-image-1393417428.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">The art created in this class is a lot different than the doodles done in notebooks and papers. My thumbnail sketch turned out not as great as I expected, making me nervous for the actual bike drawing. Once getting into the swing of it, my bike drawing began to looked like the view I had in my mind. I learned that value and composition require more detail than I thought.
